General Rules

• Students should arrive at the school before the assembly bell at 9:15am every day.
• Every student must possess a copy of the school dairy which should be brought to school daily.
• Students are expected to speak in English at all times once they are in the school campus.
• Running, playing or shouting inside the school building is not allowed.
• Students are not allowed to enter other class rooms.
• Any damage done in or about the school permises must be paid for.
• No books other than school books may be brought to the school.
• Students are forebidden to wear jwellery of any kind except ear rings.
• Personal cleanliness and hygiene are expected from all students.
• In the absence of a teacher, the class perfect assumes responsibility for orderband discipline of the class. The perfect will assist in maintaining discipline of the students outside the class rooms.
• Withdrawal of students from the class during school hours is not permitted.
• Every student is expected to take an active part in the Co-curricular activities like games, sports, literary associations, educational tours etc arranged by the school.
• All payments should be made direct to the school office and parents are requested to keep all the receipts issued to them. They have to produce them if required to do so.
• The school premises should be kept neat and clean. Waste paper baskets should be used to put waste materials and waste paper.
• When pupils along corridors or staircases go to another class room they should keep to the left and walk in a single line.
• Habitual negligence of school work, dishonesty, obscenity in word or act in subordination or such other acts of misconduct will involve disciplinary action which in extreme cases will lead to expulsion from the School.
• Correct school uniform must be worn daily.
• Any serious breach of discipline including discourtesy and disrespect to the members of the school staff in any way will be treated seriously.
• Parents and guardians are not allowed to contact pupils and teachers without the permission of the school principal during the school hours. Parents are to make complaint if any to the principal and not to the class teacher.
• Every pupil should endeavour to keep up the high standard and reputation of the school by excelling in fine manners and discipline.
• Devotional Sessions moral of value education classes are an integral part of Mount Zion curriculam.
• House wise assembly will be conducted on all Wednesdays.
